Part of Animal Welfare
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a charity in England and Wales that promotes animal welfare. It is the oldest and largest animal welfare organisation in the world and as a charity we will, by all lawful means, prevent cruelty, promote kindness to and alleviate suffering of animals.
Workplace Giving helps provide the Society with a valuable and long-term source of income; this in turn secures a better future for many thousands of abused, neglected and suffering animals. Last year, your support helped us rescue and collect over 140,000 animals as well as finding loving new homes and a chance for a new life for a further 70,000 – so every pay day you really are helping us make a big difference.
In addition to rescuing and rehoming animals we also campaign on a number of other animal welfare related issues. These include, limiting the use and suffering of laboratory animals, reducing the need of farmed and caged animals in the fur trade, protecting wildlife and promoting farm animal welfare through its Freedom Food scheme plus much, much more.
