PDSA is the UK’s leading veterinary charity. Its mission is to care for the pets of people in need by providing free veterinary services to their sick and injured animals, and to promote responsible pet ownership.

Through its network of 50 dedicated PetAid hospitals and more than 360 affiliated private veterinary practices, PDSA provides in excess of 2.2 million free treatments every year, together with more than 360,000 vital preventive treatments such as vaccination, neutering and microchipping. This year, its PetAid services will cost more than £61 million to deliver.

PDSA receives no Government or National Lottery funding for its veterinary services, so is reliant upon voluntary giving from caring members of the public. This comes in the form of gifts in wills, donations from clients, workplace giving, public appeals, plus proceeds from trading and its nationwide network of charity stores.
