Thank-You-For-Giving-Awards-2009We held our annual Thank You For Giving awards at the fabulous offices of Taylor Wessing LLP last Thursday, it was both a happy and moving evening.

We heard from a young lady who is a carer for both her parents and a sibling and found out just how much Barnardo’s have helped her to cope with the huge responsibility she has at such a tender age.  We also heard the story of another remarkable young woman, a refugee from Zimbabwe who had found great friendship and support from the Refugee Council, she now has her life on track and is giving back by volunteering for them.
