Help the Hospices develops online hub for international care sector

29 October 2012

Help the Hospices, the national charity for hospice care, has launched a new online resource, revolutionising the way people can access hospice, palliative and end of life care news.

ehospice is a free app and website that will enable real-time sharing of international care news, intelligence and experiences to be accessed by users globally.

The app and website are aimed at anyone with a professional or personal interest in palliative care and will give access to news, current research findings, coverage of major meetings and conferences, policy developments, job and event listings and much more.

One aim is to increase collaboration and co-operation between the international bodies in the care sector and act as an educational and inspirational tool for those working in palliative care in countries as varied as Kenya and the United States of America.

Help the Hospices is guiding and driving this venture and will run a UK edition, along with a separate international edition for adult and children’s care.

Donate now from your pay to support Help the Hospices and this exciting new venture and make a difference to hospice care in the UK and further afield.  Visit www.ehospice.com to find out more.
