Best Companies to Work For

15 February 2010

BEST-COMPANY-2010-MAIN-LOGOWe are delighted to be sponsoring this years ‘Giving Something Back Champion Award’ at The Sunday Times ‘Best Companies to Work For’ Award Ceremony on 24th and 25th February.

This is the 10th year of The Sunday Times Best Companies Awards and being a best company goes beyond the bottom line. It’s about excelling in every area throughout the workplace and an organisation’s commitment to its most important assets – its workforce.

Focusing on employees brings real benefits such as, improved workplace engagement, better staff retention, reduced recruitment costs and greater financial performance.

The Awards are judged in three categories, the 20 Best Big Companies to Work For — for businesses with more than 5,000 staff, the 100 Best Companies to Work For — for medium-sized firms of 250 to 4,999 employees and the 100 Best Small Companies to Work For — aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises with between 50 and 249 workers.

Peter O’Hara, Managing Director of Workplace Giving UK comments; ‘We are thrilled to be sponsoring the Giving Something Back Champion Award this year. We understand that it takes innovation, creativity and strong employee engagement to make any CSR campaign successful and we welcome the opportunity to help champion the employers who excel in this area.’

We will let you know who the winners are later this month.  Good Luck to everyone that has entered.
