Barnardo’s is facing an emergency

15 February 2011

Barnardos-little-boy-with-Believe-in-Children-signBarnardo’s is facing an emergency. We are already seeing the effects of national and local spending cuts, which could result in much of the work we do for vulnerable children being cut back or lost altogether.

At the same time, we are facing a £2 million shortfall in fundraising because the harsh economic climate is making it harder to raise the money we need.

That is why we are asking for you to help by making a donation today.

We want to go on supporting the most vulnerable children in our society, as we have done for so many years. Making a donation will help us continue as much as we can of the support we give to children, young people and their families through these very difficult times.

The next few months will be crucial for Barnardo’s and for the children who need our support. We know that the country’s economic difficulties affect us all. We know that hard choices will have to be made, by Barnardo’s as much as everyone else. But we want to do all we can to keep our services going, even at a reduced level, rather than seeing them close down altogether. And we want to continue making sure that the most vulnerable children of all are not forgotten or neglected but receive the help they need.

Please help us continue giving the most vulnerable children the support they need.

Support Barnardos with a donation from your pay.
