Connection at St Martins-Trust-client-eating-mealThe Connection at St Martin’s helps people to cope with the immediate physical crisis of being homeless and works to address the underlying causes of homelessness. We have a proven track record in making a real difference to the lives of homeless people and in reducing the number of people sleeping rough.

Our Day Centre in Trafalgar Square gives homeless people access to hot food, showers and a laundry. Our dedicated team of workers can refer people into our emergency Night Centre and into longer-term accommodation. We also provide specialist advice and counselling services to help address the causes of homelessness. Our fully-accredited Employment and Training Centre and Arts programmes equip people with the self-confidence and skills necessary to rebuild their lives and achieve their potential.

Our Centre is open 21 hours per day, 7 days a week. It costs £4.5 million per year to keep The Connection at St Martin’s open.

Minimum donation - £5 per month

  • £5 per month will ensure that 60 homeless people get a hot meal and a shower.
  • £15 per month will pay for 8 homeless people to receive housing advice and be referred to accommodation.
  • £30 per month will pay for an ex rough sleeper to receive careers advice, job search support and IT training.

In return

The Connection at St Martin’s will put your money straight to work for the direct benefit of homeless people.

As a charity we try to keep non-direct service costs to a minimum, therefore you will only receive two posted newsletters per year.
