Church Housing Trust supports homeless people in over 70 hostels throughout England, providing funding for welcome & resettlement packs, counselling, training, and other extras that make a real difference.

The hostels we support are places where a homeless person can feel safe, cared for, and where they will receive the medical, psychological and practical help they need to turn their lives around and leave homelessness behind them.

Christmas is often a difficult and lonely time of year, especially if they have lost touch with family or friends.

This year, as every year, each resident will receive a Christmas dinner and a small gift, which we hope will bring a smile to their face and help them forget their troubles for a while.

Spare a thought for a homeless person this Christmas.  Your donation can make a difference, even for a day.

Minimum donation – £5.00 per month

  • £5 per month (annual equivalent of a donation of £60) would give 12 residents a Christmas dinner and small gift.  We have over 3,500 residents who would so much appreciate your thoughtfulness.
  • £10 per month (annual equivalent of a donation of £120) would help a resident purchase basic essentials such as bedding, cooking utensils and curtains when they are ready to move on into their own home.

In return

In return for your regular donations you will know that you have made a real difference to the life of someone less fortunate than yourself, and given them the opportunity to recover their independence, develop skills, improve their education, and find a job and a home.  Thank you
