Tommy’s exists to give every baby the best start in life.

In the UK:

• One in four dads and mums lose a baby during pregnancy or at birth; a devastating experience.

• Every year 55,000 babies are born too soon, too small. For many that could mean living with a disability for the rest of their lives.

Our goal is to help more dads and mums have a healthy baby by:

• Funding pioneering medical research into pregnancy complications such as pre-eclampsia, miscarriage and premature birth

• Giving parents information that will help them have a healthy pregnancy.

We must stress, for a small charity like Tommy’s, your donation makes a real and significant impact. We are able to leverage funds: for every £1 invested in Tommy’s an additional £2 is leveraged by Tommy’s research centres into pregnancy complications.
