Scope
Part of Disability
Scope is a charity that supports disabled people and their families.
Our vision is a world where disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else.
And we need your support to make this happen.
What we do
- We support over 30,000 disabled people and their families with practical information and support when they need it most.
- We provide services for disabled children and adults whose complex support needs are not met through home visits to families at the time of diagnosis or teams of support workers across the country. These services support disabled children and young people to be included in their local community and bridge the difficult gap between childhood and adulthood.
- We campaign with disabled people on the issues most important to them and aim to raise awareness, change attitudes and influence government policy.
At Scope we see every individual for who they are and set no limits on anyone’s potential. We believe that together we can create a society where disabled people can enjoy the same rights and opportunities as everyone else.
