We’re the world’s independent children’s charity. We work in more than 120 countries around the world. We save children’s lives. We fight for their rights. We help them fulfil their potential.

In the world’s poorest countries, over 8 million children under the age of 5 die needlessly every year. In the 21st century this is unacceptable. We’re building an unstoppable movement for change. Wherever they’re born, whatever their circumstances…NO CHILD IS BORN TO DIE

Our mission.  Save the Children fights for children’s rights; we deliver immediate and lasting improvement to children’s lives worldwide. Over the past year we’ve reached nearly 6 million children through our work and are determined to reach millions more.
