RNLI
Part of Community Services
Whether we are rescuing an offshore fishermen or a child swept off the beach, the RNLI exists to saves lives at sea. As an independent charity with no Government funding we need your support to train and equip our volunteer lifeboat crews and lifeguards.
We provide a 24-hour lifeboat search and rescue service around the UK and RoI, rescuing an average of 21 people a day. That’s 21 futures, 21 family members, 21 loved ones saved every day. Our expanding lifeguard service also helps keep you, your family and friends safe on a growing presence on beaches across England and Wales.
Help us give our volunteer crews and seasonal lifeguards the vital training and equipment they need to continue saving lives at sea.
Over a year: £6.80 a month equips a crew member with a thermal suit, essential for locking in the heat.
£10.00 a month pays for a lifeguard’s wetsuit. Each wetsuit is handmade, with ultra stretch material through the arms and shoulders to cope with the hard wear they’ll get rescue after rescue.
£15.00 a month will protect a crew member’s head with a safety helmet.
