Parkinson’s UK
Part of Medical
Because we’re here, no one has to face Parkinson’s alone. Help us to find a cure and improve life for everyone affected by Parkinson’s.
We’re the largest charity funder of Parkinson’s research in the UK. We fund research to advance our understanding of Parkinson’s and what causes it as well as to search for a cure. So far, we’ve invested more than £45 million in groundbreaking research. And by 2014, that figure will have reached £75 million.
We also provide information and support through:
- our UK-wide team of information and support workers
- our free confidential helpline (0808 800 0303)
- our publications
We offer education and training and develop resources for health and social care professionals to help improve services for people affected by Parkinson’s.
We offer support to everyone living with Parkinson’s, their families and carers through our local groups across the UK.
Our work is totally dependent on donations. Without the generosity of people like you, all of our work would not be possible. Supporters and volunteers are as vital to us as researchers and nurses.
