NDCS is the only charity dedicated to supporting deaf children and young people have a brighter future.

There are currently 45,000 deaf children in the UK and 90% are born to hearing parents who have no first-hand experience of deafness.

Jack lost his hearing after a terrible head injury when he was one year old but through the help of NDCS’s essential services he is now looking forward to a bright and happy future. His mother Debbie told us: “When Jack lost his hearing I felt completely alone and numb. I was just so afraid that he would be left behind but we have come so far. Thanks to support from NDCS, there is light at the end of the tunnel.”

Your regular donations mean NDCS can support deaf children, like Jack, at every milestone through the range of services that we provide.

A regular donation from you could:

  • send a deaf child on one of our activity weekends to help build their confidence and meet other deaf children, often for the first time
  • send a family on one of our family weekends so that they can share their experiences, form friendships and feel supported
  • provide a deaf child with the opportunity to trail a radio aid so they can hear their teacher and classmates

Help us support deaf children to have a brighter future.
