Muscular Dystrophy Campaign

Muscle disease is a cruel and relentless wasting and weakening of the muscles it affects babies, children and adults of any race and background.

We are the only national charity focusing on all muscular dystrophies and related muscle diseases, which affects more than 60,000 people across the UK.

The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign provides free care and support for all those families affected by muscle disease, funds world class research to find treatments and cures, provides grants towards equipment and campaigns to raise awareness and bring about change.

In 2008 we invested £1,743,000 into research and £1,735,000 into providing care and information for our families.

We rely almost entirely on voluntary donations and legacies to fund our work. Families, companies, trusts and foundations help us to raise money to fund our vital work.
