Diabetes UK is the leading charity for the three million people in the UK with diabetes as well as their family, friends and carers. Diabetes UK is devoted to improving the information, education, care and support that people with diabetes receive, campaigning for their rights, raising awareness of diabetes and the importance of healthy lifestyles and carrying out research to change lives.

  • Every 3 minutes someone is diagnosed with diabetes
  • Half a million people in the UK have diabetes but don’t know it
  • If left untreated or poorly controlled diabetes can lead to serious complications… it is the leading cause of blindness in the UK’s working age population
  • It is currently estimated that 10% of the NHS budget is spent on diabetes (that’s £1m an hour).

By giving from your salary every payday you will help us to tackle one of the UK’s biggest health challenges. Your regular donation will mean that we can continue to support people with diabetes to have a healthy, happy life and raise awareness of the condition so that fewer people are at risk. 

For example £5 a month would help purchase one talking blood glucose meter for a visually-impaired person with diabetes and £15 a month would help pay for 120 people to be screened at our roadshows.
