Children North East has been providing services to poorer children, young people and families in the North East of England since 1891.

Our wide range of community based services are delivered broadly around four themes:

  • Support for Families
  • Support for Communities
  • Support for Young People
  • Work with Fathers

Within these four main streams sit a number of different projects and services which are constantly changing and evolving to meet the needs of some of the most challenging and hard to reach families in our communities who are, in many cases, struggling with the effects of social, economic and aspirational poverty.

Children North East is charity that has been meeting the needs of the local community for nearly 120 years.  Our services improve lives and offer chances because we believe that Every Child Matters – do you?
