The Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE) is a charity campaigning for the beauty, tranquility and diversity of the English Countryside. We have been working for over 80 years with this aim and have in this time had much influence and success, for example helping to shape the planning system and introducing National Parks.  Today we need your help even more to ensure England has real countryside left for future generations

Our current campaigns include Stop the Drop, which aims to solve litter and fly-tipping problems blighting our countryside, cities, towns and villages. Your support will help us lobby authorities for stronger action on litter. We are also working on protecting the Green Belts, your donation will sustain CPRE’s fight to defend these areas against future threats. Our Mapping Local Food Webs project aims to increase understanding of the benefits and ultimately demand for locally produced food, thus helping to maintain local businesses and supporting farming. Help us continue this work today.
