Changing the world does not happen overnight – but it is amazing what a little help can do. In just two years, life has turned around for Sophan (pictured below centre).

Before CAFOD began helping, her family’s harvest was meagre and they struggled to put food on the table. Now Sophan’s father Hean is the proud owner of a thriving fruit and vegetable garden.  “CAFOD has taught me how to earn a living that provides my family with food all year round – not just in the farming season.’  He says: “I grow eggplant, runner beans, pumpkins, melons and cabbage. It means we always have a fresh supply of vegetables to eat which keeps our children healthy.”
