We care about dementia.  Alzheimer Scotland is Scotland’s leading specialist dementia charity and we work to improve the lives of everyone affected by dementia.

We provide a wide range of services throughout Scotland, from the Borders to the Western Isles. Our day care and day opportunities services provide a stimulating, sociable and safe environment for people with dementia. In many areas we provide a home support service where our care workers spend time with people with dementia in their homes, enabling carers to take time off. We can also provide flexible care for special occasions and emergencies. We also supply information and run support groups for people with dementia and carers. Our freephone Dementia Helpline provides information and support, 24 hours a day and 365 days a year, on 0808 808 3000.  We also fund Dementia Nurses and medical research.

 Both locally and nationally, Alzheimer Scotland represents people with dementia and their carers at every level.  We campaign for increased, more flexible services, higher standards of care, more financial help, and for the legal and human rights of people with dementia.
